heres my entry....
cant say i like the ying yang twins at all, and this pella really sucks! but i think ive breathed a lil life into it,...
im more a fan of hip hop with lyrics than this kinda stuff, and it does seem very reppetitive so i thought id give it some more interest by switching the instrumentals every so often.
anyways i hope u like....
acapella - ying yang twins - homebwoy halftime (supplied)

| Vice. The beginning of your mix is off. I'm not sayin that mine is gonna be completely on point either, cuz this is hard to mix for realz. BUT, there are points where it is on. esp at homebowy's verse, there are some timing issues. It just doesn't sound like it's on beat consistently throughout the song. This is legitimate criticism and I'm not saying anything else except givin you a couple things to consider when continuing workin on this one. |

cheers for the feeback yall, i have to agree i know there are small glitches where the pella drifts off beat, but to be honest it got to a point where id chopped it up so much and spent a while putting it to the instrums to try and get it to work that i was sick to death of hearing the ying yang voices anymore!!!!
as far as i know that instrum is ma$e (1st one) or at least thats what its labelled as on my copy, though i think it was from the bad boy era, where puffy was reworking every classic 80s song, so the loop is probably a well known track from that era too?
anyways, thanks for the feedback everyone, and good luck to those still to drop theirs,
i hope everyone else tackling this song thinks the same about it, as i feel like the count on sesame street rapping is more apealling than the ying yang twins at this moment!! lol
