Word of warning - go steady with this one as DevilZone's informed me that it's been known to blow speakers ;)

Please read the attached "triple filter instructions" file attachment BEFORE using this wicked homeade plugin from our very own member, DevilFish.

And as a reminder if you use it or would like to donate to the author his details are at the end of the readme.. tell us what you think of it:)

Njoy!

Prequel....It is a Distortion unit, which distorts your audio - and it is a serial/parallel filter unit modelled on the Waldorf Q routing.

Filters emphasise or de-emphasise certain frequencies of your audio....AKA Filter out certain freq's.

So if you want to filter out the bass of a loop....you can use eq - or more simply use a Hi-Pass filter. You can then "sweep" the filter to obtain a "wah wah" type of effect with automation - or use the Lfo to do it for ya!

Serial operation means that one filter feeds into another and the mix control means you can use parallel as a kind of DJ tool to mix between a high pass and a resonant Bandpass filter. You can get great FX on drums particularly with that.

I've updated this to a finished V1.3 - redesigned the interface and made it less CPU hungry. I'll be sending Acapella the newer version in the next coupla days after i finish testing.

Why not try it Prequel...the best way to learn - is to play!

*edit*

But please for the love 'o God - put a limiter after this in the signal chain...if the distortion is not active....the filters will rip your cones to shreds - lol. Try Silverspike Rubytube...it sounds lush - and it's free!
