Thinking about getting a mac, what are the best instruments to use for 4x4 and bassline. also what is the best program to use to create beats can u manipulate the beats has u create your track instaed of rendering them out into audio.

Firstly it would be wise to have a scan thru the forums as there is a dedicated Mac forum. If you have a gander in there you'll see generic questions like this have been asked.
As far as specificities, you'd be better off asking about VST's. In most cases they're cross compatible, especially Native Instruments.
