As some of you have reported (much to my personal amusement prematurely decrying the death of Acapellas4U!) we have been experiencing a little problem with redirections from the download pages.
Either the problem was the result of a ill advised trial (very, very, very unlikely) or we have been the victim of an attack such as an SQL injection (a way to get malicious code, such as redirection code, into a database and therefore into a web page, Acapellas4U is entirely driven by databases). Until advised otherwise, I'd probably go for the latter.
Some of you (with a properly secured browsing environment...so, not Internet Explorer then!) may have experienced the problem manifesting itself as a load of "random" ASCII characters (which is actually an ASCII representation of the MP3) appearing instead of a download beginning. For others (those still using Internet Explorer) you may have seen the results of the redirection.
Please rest assured that normal service has been resumed.
Oh, and just in case you were wondering... Acapellas4U is not going to suffer a premature death! (Some of you guys need to chill a bit!)

Hi All
Well, here we are at the end of the competition and we have had a very enjoyable time; listening to all the entries.
Firstly, we would like to thank each and every one of you for all the hard work you put in on the 'Mission Control' Remix.
The decision to pick a winner was so difficult, as so many different styles were entered. After lots of discussions and arguments, we agreed on the top ten and more importantly, the winner
The quality of mixes entered were also amazing! You guys seem to really know what you're doing. And even if you didn’t win, definitely continue with what you are doing - good things await. Well, done to all and good luck with everything in the future!
So, the top 3 are as follows (in reverse order):-
3rd Place: Mission control - De-Fine music mix
A fantastic house mix, we loved the side chaining you have going on here DE-Fine, very cool and well produced sound!
2nd Place: Mission Control - (Johnny Roth Remix)
Johnny, the decision to put you in 2nd place was a very hard one, it was sooo close.
This mix is the true sound of Summer, every time I hear this, I imagine driving through the Countryside with the top down…..very very cool!
And the Winner is………………
1st Place: Mission Control - (Remix by DJ Sugs)
A very unexpected mix this one, it really caught our attention due to the live feel the song has. The drum work and structure of the song is very cool…it sounds like Bloc party and The Killers have got together to records a version of the song, we love it![/b]
So Congratulations DJ Sugs…you have won a T-Shirt, a signed copy of the album and your mix will be released on iTunes for the world to hear!
All the tracks can be heard here if you haven't heard them yet or simply just wanted to listen to 'em again.
Finally, I would like to thank Acapellas4u and all it’s moderators, for being such good hosts for this competition and helping us out with the organization of everything, you are all true stars…especially acapella!!
We have also made some good friends here and this is what music is all about, mixing up the fun with like minded buddies!

And how happy am I to have just finished listening to the final top 10 entries during my lunchbreak. Great standard, brilliant stuff!
I think I now know all the words and I am as you could say "Fully Mission Controlled"
Well done to all of you...
I won't reveal my favourite just yet but I'm sure EskimoD are going to find it hard picking a winner out of this prime bunch. Hopefully the orginal Eskimo Disco lads enjoyed what they heard? Maybe if we could have some feedback on that sometime that'd be awesome..
